A federal court has ruled that Seitz's perspective is correct: that under the "double jeopardy" rule Lt. Watada cannot be tried twice. Judge Settle dismissed 3 of the 5 charges.

Watada is exemplary in his convictions and moral standards. He should be commended not imprisonned.

Lt. Watada shows TRUE courage. It is much harder to stand up for your principles than it is to go along with the crowd, especially given the pressure that this current administration applies upon dissenters. Bravo, Lt. Watada--I hope this is the end of this ridiculous action against you.
