Statement of Support

"Heroes are not only defined by what they do on the battlefield, but those actions they take to prevent others from having to face the arbitrary, and often needless brutality of war.

Army Lt. Ehren Watada is one such man, a man of principle, and one whose heroic refusal to cooperate with an illegal, as well as immoral war, will long be remembered.

As an honorable country, we must not criminalize acts of conscience by incarcerating those who respect their flag, and everything it represents by not serving in a dishonorable, and counterfeit war. History will look kindly on this profile in courage: Lt. Ehren Watada."
