Statement of Support: Sam Hamill - Poet & Activist

In 2003, Laura Bush invited all the
greatest American poets including
highly acclaimed Sam Hamill to the
White House for a reading. Sam
organized a boycott and started Poets
Against War. He has a lifelong history
of activism including imprisonment for his
beliefs.
