Hawai'i members of "World Can't Wait" are spearheading a sign-waving campaign today on King Street fronting Blaisdell Concert Hall and Thomas Square to show support for Army 1st Lt. Ehren Watada, who is facing a court martial Feb. 5 for refusing to deploy to Iraq with his unit.

A two-day preliminary hearing is underway at Fort Lewis, Wash., to determine the parameters for the court martial.

The sign waving is scheduled from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
