Activity 8: Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper in support of Lt. Watada.

Activity 9: Publicize key events, activities and legal developments of the case. Coordinate major PR and media activities with Lt. Watada's mobilization team.

Activity 10: Order and distribute Thank You Lt. Watada posters, buttons, stickers, t-shirts and collateral material to publicize the Watada case. Order materials online at www.ThankYouLt.org/orders. Download and print flyers from the website.

Sign the petition to support Lt. Watada and receive action alerts .

Participate in constituent advocacy campaigns announced in the Watada Support Campaign Action Alerts.

Contact your local and state government leaders - Ask them to pass resolutions of support. Provide examples of resolutions passed by other jurisdictions, and speak before your city and county councils.

Organize your community - Engage people in dialog; educate and raise awareness. Organize local events and mobilize on national days of action.

• Draft a resolution of support. Join individuals and organizations including military veterans, military families, faith groups, labor unions and others in drafting your own resolution of support for Lt. Watada  
• Encourage your parent organization to endorse Lt. Watada's cause if you are a local chapter of a national or international organization.
